We at the TSSC want to first remind everyone that anything posted in regards to this matter, is pure speculation. Nothing, as of yet, has come to legal fruition. What this means is, we may or may never know the outcomes of the investigation. As it stands, we are unaware of what's going on, what has since happened with the investigation, etc. With this said, we want to remind our group members to be respectful. Violet was and always will be, a much loved person of our community. No matter if she is here or not. That stated, this was posted to a reddit by the author of KrissyGreatThunder.
"I'm extremely hesitant and upset to post something this, but I believe that the truth is more important than whatever may happen in result of me sharing this information. I basically did some quick google searches on the internet for some information on Violet Flowergarden's father, who I now believe is not only her abuser, a child molester, a domestic abuser to his wife, a master manipulator, a menace to society who should be locked up behind bars for life, but also the man who caused Violet's untimely death at just 23 years old.
I don't want to dox Violet's family. But unfortunately that information has already been made public. And in order to show this evidence, there will be pieces of her family's information on it. I only ask you to please not harass her family. Please leave them alone and let police handle this investigation. However, if you have any information that could help put her father behind bars and give her the justice she deserves, and protection for the innocent family she has left, please send all information to the Jackson County police in Grass Lake, Michigan.
This was the first source I had found. (This police report website also already releases Violet's real life name with her youtube identity, so there is no point in trying to cover it up anymore) In this article we find the cause of death of Violet was a drug overdose. This may have been self-inflicted or it may have been caused by her father who is Dr. Joel B Dinverno.

Upon a quick google search this pediatrician has incredibly bad reviews with an only 1.9 out of 5 star rating. If you look at the negative reviews, it reveals that basically the whole town knows about the police report about him and his allegations. Many people caution not to go to him. Here is one interesting quote from a reviewer:
"Religious kook breeder who only believes in God's will as a form of birth control?? Lecturing patient's parents on THEIR birth control is UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR. Is this really a man of science? Our earth is in trouble from too many humans. Now suspected of CSC on his own children (who mysteriously passed away within three years of each other- horrifically tragic) Is this conduct becoming of a PEDIATRICIAN?? Believes ASD, ADD, ADHD and other forms of atypical behavior can be controlled by diet?? Diet may certainly help but again a physician capable of critical thinking vs. letting religious beliefs influence him knows alternative treatment (meds, counseling) are warranted."
There are many, many more disturbing reviews like this under his business and I strongly suggest reading them. It may help paint a better picture of the type of controlling man running his family. His disturbing religious and dismissive views here especially while he's supposed to be a scientific professional make me sick to my stomach aswell. And it turns out that he was his children's primary care physician. I feel so scared for the types of things he was doing to his own kids, especially Violet. It only gets worse from there.
This was a court case where it appears Violet (Sofia or SD) came forward with what happened to her at the hands of her abuser -- her very own father. She was abused and molested from ages 9-15. Not only that, but she revealed that he abused Lydia (LD), who we think is still living with the family. The mother seems to be defending the father in this case, also when it comes to the use of a SPANKING STICK. This entire thing was sickening to read, but I think it's important to know the truth of what was really going on in that household. I'd also like to point out that this case document came out in September of 2022, that was only a few months before Violet passed away. Suspicious, isn't it? A “small silver container that contained orange pills” was found at the scene of her death, police wrote in the report. How do we know Joel, her father, didn't do this in revenge for finally coming out? Joel apparently admitted to it and written an apology letter. But I couldn't find the letter. However, I did find this post.
And I haven't even mentioned that Micah, the older brother passed away in 2020 at only 19 years old of a suspicious drug overdose as well. It's all just a little bit too convenient, is it not? Even if it wasn't the father who overdosed them, and if they did it on their own, don't you think the trauma from them witnessing or being sexually abused at a young age, and being powerless against it wouldn't have some kind of serious mental repercussion that could affect them for their entire lives?
I'm posting this here because I believe that the SSO community has the right to know what's going on. Violet was someone that we loved and cherished. She was a girl who loved horse games. She was one of us. But she was also sadly a victim, secretly suffering all this time, and never got justice for any of it. But she was fighting, and she tried to get justice on her own. She tried to save her sister, and the rest of her family to no avail because her parents are controlling the narrative. Her mother is protecting her abusive father, and he's probably going to continue harming young kids and other people until this investigation gets some more noise."

As the owner of the TSSC, I want to remind our members that we will NOT tolerate mentions of threatening bahviour towards Violet's family. Deserved or otherwise, please remember to be better than them. Violet would never want people saying they were going to harm her parents, no matter how cruel that may or may not be. Again, everything posted to this Reddit is pure speculation with a few areas of concrete evidence, but nothing further than that. No updates, no nothing.
We also want to be VERY clear that this and other articles do NOT belong in the group. You are more than welcome to talk about Violet, as long as it's done so in a respectful manner to not only her but to her family (as outsiders messing with any information could impede officers' ability to do their jobs).
Please remember, that Sophie / Violet, was an amazing person to our community. So for that, let us simply remember her and not the horrible things that happened to her. This doesn't mean we're being silent, it simply means we respect Violet more than those who failed to protect her and her siblings.

We hope that wherever you are now, that you're free of the pain and suffering that you had to endure at the hands of those who were meant to protect, love and cherish you. We, the SSO community will never forget how you made so many of us smile and laugh, even when we were feeling down. I can only assume this is echoed by us all, but I believe all of us, wish we'd known just how bad things were. But in the end, if wishes were horses, we'd all have one.
