I wanted to address some concerns and questions regarding our new group and why it's been made.

The Concerns

Are you abandoning this group?: No! Never! I've loved this group from the day it was founded almost 5 years ago. But. Change is often needed to encourage growth. To encourage activity amongst our peers. We've never really exceeded our end goal of reaching 2k members before the end of the year and I feel change is needed to re-encourage that spark we once had for this group.

Are new Moderators joining or leaving?: For some, they won't be joining the team in the new group. As I've not heard back from some of them, it shows who has interest and who doesn't. So for many, this will be a fresh start, free of duties. For others, the option to join the team, will be made available for the current team to look over and come to a decision.

Won't it be hard to get people to join the new group?: Perhaps, but I'm hoping that each of you, once the group is ready, that you'll give it a chance. I'm hoping I'll have the funds to do a fun giveaway but I'm also not holding my breath (sometimes being an adult sucks). That said, I do, sincerely hope, you'll all come and join us in our new group, once it's ready to go.

What all is ready?: Our email, Instagram and website will be all ready to go before the end of the month. I've scraped the idea of an official Twitter and Facebook Page, as this seems conflicting. Our official Instagram will feature photos from both myself, the team and from you, our members. Member photos will be hand selected and picked at random and posted with credit cited back to you (so be sure when you post your photos in the new group, to cite your IG!) Our official website will feature an about us page, about our team page, a give aways page, and, for the first time, a short visual story titled 'Don't Look Back', a short tale of how my in game character became Galloper Thompson's adopted daughter but it'll tell of the trials and tribulations, she's had to face and the tasks she's had to accomplish in order to gain a new friend!

Will those who were banned/blocked remain banned/blocked?: It wholly depends on their attitude. I want everyone to feel safe but at the same time, I won't tolerate anyone undermining myself or my team's authority. When we ask you to stop, it doesn't mean continue. When we tell you to be nice, it doesn't mean continue being an ass. We're asking you to stop, because we want to keep our group open. We want our members to feel safe to post here. We can't accomplish that when someone is undermining us.

When's the grand opening of the new group?: October 31st! By which point, I hope to have everything set up and ready to go. I'll be spending some time working on the official Discord this week along with the official website. By the time these two things are ready to go, the group will simply need to wait till the 31st, for the official merge announcement. After which, I'll wait for one month before deleting this group in favor of the new one.

I hope this puts any worries, concerns and fears to rest. We're not going anywhere, we're simply going on an adventure!

While I could go through the overwhelming hassle of removing every piece of content from this group, it would take days if not months to do so and honestly? It's not worth the hassle. We have an astounding 1.9k members! I seriously can't believe how far this group has come. But honestly? It's time for a change.

This new group, once it's ready to go, will have some key features that'll set it apart from this one;

• An official Instagram account

• An official Facebook Page

• An official Twitter account

• An official Discord Server

This decision doesn't come lightly. It comes on the heels of months worth of soul searching, thinking and gazing at a group, that has grown to be family. That has become a safe haven for those of you were left the bigger SSO groups, due to bullying, harassment, etc.

This group will also feature stricter guidelines on protection, what to do should you feel unsafe, and who to contact at any given time. And only the ADMINS of the group will have access to the above key features (with me being the sole owner of the Discord Server).

I want to thank every one of you for being apart of this journey. Until the new group is ready, please feel free to use this one, as you normally would. Come launch day for the new one, ALL activities will be paused in this group and an invite link will be provided in an announcement.
